Stanley

30th June 2009 – 2nd June 2024

My dearest sweetest boy passed away in the 2nd June 2024.  I feel like my world has stopped.  Stanley meant so much to me, we were connected and in tune with each other.  He is so sorely missed that I am struggling to process my grief.    A dog wagging their tail whilst just staring at you, believing you to be the best person in the world.  He would talk to me, got away with all kinds of mischief but fundamentally he was always by my side.  He played with his toys and would show so much joy as he cantered around the house, with either a sock or a new cuddly toy.  His favourite thing to play with were socks (of course!)He would engage with me in a way I haven’t had before with any dog, my soul dog.  My amazing sugar faced boy,  I will see you again one day, in the meantime I will dream of you being cheeky and silly up there at Rainbow bridge.    I loved you from the start and will miss you for the rest of time.

Love your Mumma

The resident clown of our gang of dogs.  Stanley is our youngest and cheekiest lab by far.  Full of energy and loves to have a hoolie with any dog who cares to chase him!  At home Stanley has to have his creature comforts and very rarely will he be seen sleeping on the floor!  I could watch Stanley clowning around for hours, when he is settling down in the evening he makes an array of noises as he gets himself just right on his bed.  Rather craftily he waits for his master to fall asleep.  Bingo, he sneaks up into the bedcovers.  Having Stanley has been the best experience, a very easy puppy to train even if he is cheeky.  He will do quite literally anything for food, so using this to our advantage he will do little tricks for you.
Stanley is neutered.
