A lovely Surprise for Mylo’s owners!

Whoever said I cant keep a secret….they are wrong!!!!  As I can ! and here is the proof….Mylo’s owners (blue pup!) have come to collect their little boy and I was able to reveal a lovely surprise for them. A  Cilla Black moment – I almost said Surprise Surprise!!  Anyway…… the surprise was that the puppy had been paid for by Nick’s Dad when little Mylo was only 10 days old!!!

It was really lovely to see the look of sheer disbelief when I said I had some good news for them, I dont want your money and in fact we owed them some money!!

Thank you to Nicks Dad for such a wonderful wedding gift, and we all at Marchstone wish Nick and Fay a very happy life together with their daughter Rosie and new addition Mylo.

Good luck Mylo in your new home – remember the pep talk!

I have heard back from Scrumpy’s owners (pink puppy) and she has been very good so far, a little unsettled in the night, but I think she will be fine tonight (have faith!).

and then there were six

This is definitely the hardest bit, saying goodbye.  dear little Scrumpy has gone to her new home.  I have already heard she is doing well and investigated the garden fully as well as enjoying her very full toy box.

Tomorrow…. two pups are going Mylo and Cash.

So for now this evening we enjoyed our slightly smaller litter of puppies.  They are climbing anything and everything NO-WHERE is safe!

Last evening wth 7 puppies

It has always been traditional to take a special photograph on the last night before they start to go to their new homes.

It is with mixed feelings I post.  I am delighted with all the new owners and am confident everyone will remain in touch with us and that the puppies have the best homes.  but of course, for us, saying goodbye to these bundles is hard.  We try so hard not to fall totally in love with them – but it is impossible not to love these little ones.

Molly has given us beautiful puppies.  They are all so confident, so outgoing and bold.  They are all very handsome and very pretty.  Evenly proportioned that it has been a touch choice working out which puppy was going to be ours.  If I could have kept more than one then I would have done.

I know I shall worry about them and I know that technically I shouldn’t.

Good luck to all of my puppies in your new homes

Love Heidi, Dave and Katherine – your first owners who cherished every moment of you – from your eyes opening to taking your first steps.  To dashing around the garden with such confidence our hearts soared with pride. xxx

Vaccinations went well

The puppies have all been a clean bill of health by the vet and were very good when they had the vaccination.  They were very well behaved as this was the first time they had been in a car for any length of time too.  So no mess to pick up!  yay!

Collar change!

Today has bought about the next phase of collars.  Usually I need to do this at about 7 weeks when the puppies become so active.  So the collars were changed today.

Miss Blue (Maggie) has gone back to PURPLE! (Stanleys old puppy collar!)

Miss Pink is still Miss Pink (but stripy…very sweet)

Peaches is a pale pink with brown spot (pretty and used on Peaches previously).

Mr Blue is still Mr Blue (but stripy – Melvins old Puppy collar).

Mr White is still Mr White

Mr Green – I struggled to get a macho green collar in the right size – so he now has an orange collar (but it is camouflaged and manly!! the green collar I have has daisy’s on it….)

Miss Red is Miss Red.

Katherine enjoyed some puppy cuddles before school today.

The puppies have been having a hoolie in the living room and now….they are asleep! bless them.  I love the puppy piles of contented snoozy pups!

Another busy day at Marchstone!

The pups have spent a lot of time playing in the garden, I have taken quite a few photos today so there will be some new pictures to see in the gallery.

I have now taken all seven puppies individually around the block.  I have done this for each puppy twice and hope to continue giving them the experience of the bigger wider world, whilst being protected safely in my arms.  This is an important part of their socialisation programme!

Tomorrow is vaccination day!  So hopefully this will be uneventful.  Will give them their first experience of being in a car as well as seeing a vet.

On collection day – please could my buyers bring their puppy packs back so I can add some information.  Please could you also have emergency contact numbers for your identichip registration.  Thank you!

This photo reminds me of a superhero coming in to save the day! (Mylo!!)

photos have been added to the gallery!

Puppies are lovely and….

fast!!!! I hope you are all ready for mischief with your new bundles!!!!  The puppies are just so funny to watch.  They are playing in the garden so happily “galloping” about!

Feedtime is quite simply CRAZY!

We had a visitor yesterday – which was Bunty – Melvins sister.  She was allowed to come in and see the puppies.  (though Molly “had” to put her in her place first….despite the fact Bunty was being good anyway)  Bunty LOVED the puppies…… she was very sweet with them.

I took quite a few photos yesterday which I have now put in the gallery.

here are a few of my favourites:

Yesterday they reached 7 weeks!

Another busy day with the pups – full of playing, scampering about the garden, lots of puppies ASKING to go out for a wee!!! yip yip!!!  take note – any whimpering at the door…. is them asking to go out for a wee, scratching the door…. I NEED A WEE!  Don’t ignore it, LEAP into action and let them out with a “do wee wees”!!

Are the pups ready for their new homes???

go take a look at them having fun…. (last piccy!)

A little fun with the puppies!

The puppies have been having fun playing with the toy box.

Packing up and ready to go to their new homes?

Of course the idea was to get ALL the puppies in the suitcase…..!!!

Had a fabulous visit yesterday!

It is always smashing to see my puppies again.  Mark and Rachel have Sam who is Melvin’s full brother and also Ben who is full brother to the litter we have now!

I love how fit and handsome they are.  Gorgeous healthy dogs.  Balanced, very sociable and very well behaved.  Could I ask for more eh?!

I am so pleased to see how happy Ben and Sam have made Mark and Rachel.

Ben (half brother to Melvin) is so remarkably similar to Melvin it is uncanny!
