Busy Busy!

We have had a busy few days at Marchstone!  The puppies have enjoyed a photo shoot with farlap photography.  They were exhausted after racing about for an hour, I have been given some of the photos and will be loading them on to a new page soon!  Please note the copyright on these photographs!  Ironically the elusive photo that I couldn’t get of Mr Blue (sitting nicely on his own) has now been accomplished by the professional!! YAY!

Yesterday was worming day.  This brings about the weekly ritual of attempting to weigh them.  As soon as they are in the weighing scales they are out again or you get another puppy trying to get in at the same time.  Lovely chaos!  it was much easier this time as I had my Puppy Carer Assistant Katherine to help!!!    So pink frothy puppies (again!!).  I do give the puppies natural yoghurt and scrambled egg before I worm them and continue with the mix of kibble/scrambled egg and diluted natural yoghurt until I am certain that all tummies are fine again.

I have of course been taking my own photos which I will be uploading soon (just have not had the time to catch up with myself!).  I have planned a special photograph – which I hope pulls off so watch out for that one!

The puppies have been enjoying the good weather and have been racing about the garden.  A couple of puppies who will remain nameless have been getting into the chicken coup.  Last year it was Dexter who wore the red collar, who kept getting in to the chickens……something about that red collar I think!!!   We have now re-done all the fencing so hopefully…. the two offenders wont be getting in again!!!

The puppies are full of life, love, joy and spring!  I am loving them so much that I think there are going to be some tears on collection day!  (BE PREPARED BUYERS!!)

Today the puppies are having their photos taken….

Today we have a professional photographer coming.  The puppies are going to have be on their best behaviour so that we get some awesome photos of the cuteness and boldness of our puppies.  The photos are hopefully going to get featured in a gundog magazine and hopefully in a calendar too!(very exciting!).

A couple of videos…..

Is it food time do you think?? Jumping Jacks at tea time

A video clip featuring Peaches at the end….very cute!

(note…. CLEAN PEN again, we have now had no poos in the house for a week!!! WOOP…. clever puppies are asking to go out for a wee too….still getting some wees indoors but improvements are being made every day!!!).

Tomorrow is worming day – so we may not have huge success on a clean pen come Saturday morning – but this wont be the fault of the puppies but the horrid medicine that can upset their tummies.  Must go shopping for eggs and natural yoghurt today! (the irony… we have chickens but we still need to buy eggs!!!)

My little pupsters

I love my little ones so much…already I am getting sad that their time with us is reaching the second phase of their lives.  I hate thinking of them going.  But go they must as seven pups having a hoolie in my living room *MAY* even be a little too many woofs for us!

(Im trying to get a matching photo of Mr Blue to complete the set from the other day…but I haven’t been in the right place at the right time)

037(needed him to look my way…but he didn’t stay here long enough!)

videos will be uploaded – at the moment….they are taking FOREVER to do…I will put some on when I can!

Puppy mayhem

The pups are developing so fast!  They are fast on their little paws too!  (my adapted walk is now more shoop shoop as if skiing!)

Here is a video clip of the puppies playing.

I have taken lots of photos I am in the process of organising them so will upload those when I can!

A few video clips

I have a few clips that I took on the 18th April.

Puppies coming in from the garden

Puppies chasing Molly around the garden

Molly and Melvin playing with the puppies

At mealtimes I have to adapt my walk as they are all rushing towards me when I attempt to put the bowls down!  I  have developed a weird sideways shuffle now so that my feet are scooting the ground rather than stepping down (for fear of treading on all these moving fluffballs!!)  They have stepped up a gear with regard how they are playing with each other and speed!

Puppies have had a busy day

The sun was out and it was a lovely dry and warm day!  Which is perfect for the pups!

The pups have had plenty of time in the garden playing today.  they have really enjoyed racing about the garden, particularly with their new friend Hollie.

(I have added more photos to the gallery, I do have some videos to load up….. but it may take some time!)

Where does the time go?

I cant believe our puppies are now five and a half weeks old!  They are full of fun, skipping about the living room and the garden!  They are getting very fast too!

We do have two puppies who are escapees….shall I divulge which ones?!!! hee hee!!  Seriously though it is nothing to worry about as they are popping over the side of the box (at the entrance). So they are not being naughty really!

We are doing well with the toilet training, as soon as they get outside they know they are outside for a wee.  They do the vast majority of their poops outside too!

002 086Do you think they might want to come in?!

I have updated the gallery!
