this video was taken a couple of days ago… it is finding the time between cuddles and playtime to download the video clips!!
Hope you like it! Dave was hoovering at the time – so probably best to have the volume off for the clip!

Managed to snap this picture this morning – I think it is very cute – it is of Sam (yellow collar) and Rosie (Peach Collar).
Perfect Easter Puppies!
After some playtime the yellow puppies crawled into the basket…
all the yellow puppies - snuck in for a cosy cuddle!
The pups are getting livlier! They race around the garden so much so that Comet the rabbit is left sitting in their dust! I was given a basket to put the pups into for creating a sweet photo. Needless to say it is not an easy task getting them in AND making them sit angellically. Of course, this evening five of them snuggled up of their own choice in the basket.
Yellow Boy Sam!
then they choose to get in to the basket!!
Get yourself SENSIBLE slippers!!!! If you have silly character BIG slippers you will find you will walk with a puppy attached to your foot.
I rarely wear my slippers but today I put on my slippers (with teddies on!…oops!) and I was set upon by 8 puppies all keen to remove them from me. I could hardly walk for the mass of swirling puppies. The little monkeys!
There…your warning is in writing – take heed! :0)
On that note here is a cute photo…
Cute puppy - who looks like butter wouldnt melt... dont be fooled by the cuteness!
As the puppies are getting bigger they have gone into their next size up collar. I will continue referring to them in their original colour (ie. yellow will still be called yellow)
Yellow – Orange and Creamy colour! (Yellow Boy)
White – White with black (Black Boy)
Green – Green (with cute flowers!) (Yellow Bitch)
Lilac – Purple (Yellow Bitch)
Blue- Blue Stripes (Yellow Boy)
Peaches – Pink with brown polka dots (Yellow Bitch)
Mrs Stripes – Purple, Aqua Sea green (multicoloured!) (Black Bitch)
With some modifications to parts of the garden to keep the puppies safe, they have the run of about 95% of the garden. Which “did” include access to the rabbits house. Comet lives in a lovely summer house with the run of the garden. However it would seem our puppies like the taste of rabbit food so we are going to have to think of a way of keeping the pups away from the rabbits home.
I have taken lots of photos today so will be downloading them later on. Lots of lovely cute pictures! (so comb back to this entry as I will be adding photos this evening).
The puppies race about the garden with skips and jumps like little spring lambs. Which is pure joy to see. The only downside is they are starting to do some pruning….. (to be noted I have removed the rhododendron bush as that can cause upset tummies).

Just wanted to express my congratulations to Gayle and Lorna on the birth of 8 puppies. Lorna is a beautiful border collie. Well done both of you! You did GOOD!!
The pups are five weeks old today and it has been the dreaded worming day! The pups have spent alot of time in the garden and have been frolicking around. Getting to know the rabbit, they boldly sneak up on “Comet” with their tails wagging hoping to make friends with him. Comet is fine if he is approached by one pup but doesnt like being bombarded! (who can blame him eh?!)
Worming day gives us their new weights:
collar Five weeks
Yellow 7lb 8oz
White 6lb 6oz
Green 5lb 9oz
Lilac 6lb 2oz
Blue 7lb 8oz
Peach 6lb 0.6oz
Red 7lb 20z
Stripes 6lb 3oz

The first born pup (yellow collar) playing with Melvin and white collar boy (second born). Rather cute little clip as Yellow boy comes up to the camera for a kiss.
Puppies are having their last milk feed with Molly. I think Molly will be glad she doesnt have to do it again, bless her. Those teeth are very sharp! The end of a chapter for Molly and the next stage for her pups!! Molly has done really well feeding them, whilst keeping condition to her glossy coat. The Puppies have had a fabulous start thanks to their Mum!
Mrs Stripes our only black girl!
