Video clips of Green Girl (Poppy), White boy (Stevie), Mrs Stripes, Peaches and Melvin.

Im trying to get clips that focus on individual puppies so that all the new owners get to see their little ones being full of mischief!

Approaching 5 weeks and full of fun!

The puppies are gaining speed!  Heaven help us, but I feel like the pied piper!  Wherever I go, they go.  I really have to watch my step!  It goes without saying how gorgeous they all are!  Currently we are having a big victory on toilet training with what seems like a squilllion poos in the garden V a mere 3 poops in the box!  Good Puppies!  Probably 75% of wees are now being done in the garden.  Way to go!  We even had one puppy Mrs Stripes seem to ask to go out, we popped her out and straightaway she did a wee.  What a very good puppy and not even 5 weeks old.

A few videos for you….

Update including puppy weights, photos and video clips!

The puppies are full of mischief learning how to play with their toys it is so lovely to watch them timidly touching a toy to see what it does, then creating havoc with it 10 seconds later!  They like exploring the sitting room and have ventured into the hallway and kitchen.  It seems that life is a ball when you are a puppy!  (sleep, eat, play seem to be the main activities of these little munchkins.)  They are all putting on weight really well so much so I think they are turning into oompa lumpas!

Colour Collar          Birth Weight       4 weeks
Yellow                        15.4oz               5lb 8oz
White                         1lb 0.8oz           4lb 10.4oz
Green                        13.4oz                4lb 4.8oz
Lilac                           1lb 0.8oz           4lb 13oz
Blue                            14.70z               5lb 2.8oz
Peach                         15.2oz                4lb 9.6oz
Red                             1lb 0.3oz            5lb 6.8oz
Stripes (Turquiose) 1lb 0.8oz            4lb 8.8oz

The puppies are progressing really well.  Toilet training which began 9 days ago is going great, we have only had two poos in the whelping box since the training commenced and all the rest outside.  The vast majority of wee’s outside.   Im really pleased with them!

Puppies 4 weeks old today!

The past four weeks have been buildng me up gently to all the work that is ahead of me in rearing my gorgeous little pups!

Here is a photo of Katherine holding all of her charges….

Melvin makes a bid from freedom!

The puppies are very active, playing at every opportunity.  The pups are being weaned on to puppy food.  They pile into the bowls so much so that some (Stevie…Mr White) bounds into the middle of the bowl and carries on munching oblivious to the fact he is hogging the space.  I have now resorted to using two bowls!   I love watching them eat – they are little hoglets!

Puppy Playtime at 26days old

Leaps and Bounds

A short and sweet clip – I was under attack during filming by various little pups hanging on my hand or playing with the camera strap!  They are just so funny, adorable and to be honest…. I think they are going to be heartbreakers.  The puppies are just so much fun right now that I cant keep up with all the photos and videos I am taking of them.  Suffice to say the puppies are being delightful and coming on really well.  They are certainly getting the hang of toilet training as in the past 24 hours we have only had one poo in the box and all the rest outside.  The vast majority of wees are outside with the occassional one in the box when we are unable to physically pick up all 8 at once!

Puppies are three weeks old!

Goodness, where has the time gone?  The pups are three weeks old already.  Today is a bit of a milestone for our pups as we begin the toilet training.  The pups are steady on their feet now, so we are able to put them in the garden and hopefully begin good “learned” behaviour.

We have managed to have many wee’s out in the garden and the best result is four poo’s too!

Today is worming day.  So in preparation for the medicine we have given the puppies natural yoghurt before we wormed them and also some yoghurt a little later on.  The puppies did seem rather quiet and a bit grumbly but they have perked up a few hours after being given the wormer.

Here is a video of them taken this evening playing in our living room.  They are just adorable little pups.  Seeing them play is just delightful.

and another video!

The puppies are learning to play!

On Sunday afternoon we had them in the garden for about ten minutes, in the sunshine which they all seemed to enjoy their first experience of the big wide world, even though they fell asleep for some of the time!

At the age of 18 days they have started to play with one another, even started wagging their tails.  It is comical as to see them “playfight” with each other as they are so clumsy!

Their development is exquisite to watch.  I really could watch them for hours!  It wont be long before I will need to put the pen up to ensure they dont escape from the box!

We do have a couple of little monkeys amongst them, it isnt Melvin this time, but we have one who is on a mission to escape and another who likes to try and find milk from his little brothers and sisters (naughty eh?).
