They have definitely found their legs awwww…..

Bless them.  They are so adorable.  I hope you like this clip.

They are two weeks old!

wearing their new collars

The pups over the last couple of days have been opening their eyes.  Interestingly watching the yellows develop it did look like they had applied a little bit too much eyeliner!

The eyes are open and they are very dreamy.  Superb litter to watch (whilst letting the grass grow!)

They are very strong now and can almost manage proper walking without any falling over.

Not long now till the work really beigns!

First Milestones Reached!!!!

Im so delighted to be posting with a video clip of them taking their first steps.  It all happened this afternoon – all of them suddenly were able to support themselves.  They are taking faltering, stumbling footsteps.  They do look like they are on the gin bless them!

The next milestone is iminent as they have tiny little gaps in the corner of their eyes as they are starting to open.  I cant wait to see those gorgeous eyes!!

I have also got a couple of cutie videos

Puppies are approaching their first Milestones!

Puppies are 9 days old today!

It wont be long before we are reaching the milestone of eyes opening and the pups being able to take their first proper steps.  I can see they are getting stronger at being able to push with their legs to help support themselves!

Today has been time for clipping the puppies claws as they have become rather sharp and poor Molly’s tummy will become sore.

Puppies are now a week old

Well here are a few video clips I have taken over the past few days. Molly is a brilliant mum, very attentive and nurturing to her babies.

Just listen to them squeeking!  It is funny to see the puppies feeding whilst upside down!

The puppies at the moment are usually sleeping and eating with the odd moment of movement.  When they are wriggling around it is usually to track for their mum to find the milk bar.

The puppies are doing brilliantl and I am very pleased with their weight gain.  It wont be long before the eyes open – I cant wait to see that!  They are getting stronger everyday.  The little claws will have to be clipped very soon to save Molly’s tummy from being scratched.

I hope you enjoy the videos.

Gorgeous photos and two video clips! (3 days old)

Here is a little video clip of the first born puppy.  He was born at 2.12am.    We had a little bit of a wait before the next one came along.

new born puppy

Here is a “very” small clip of the pups at three days old.

3 days old

The puppies are doing really well, they have all put weight on and are very good at squeeking.  A couple of them make special “chuntering” noises which is very cute.  Molly is very well in herself and has had a walk today.  Her physique is almost back to her normal “size 10 jeans” (lucky girl!).

I think we might have a cheeky pup amongst us – take a peek at “Melvin” he has quite literally dived in and his rear end is sticking out!  I think this boy is going to be trouble! 🙂

Katherine looking after the new additions!

Watch this space! We have 8 pups!

Molly has now been nesting in her whelping box and has been panting for quite a while now.

The first stage of labour can take up some time! so there may not be any news for a while, but as soon as I can update I will!

Molly has been panting and nesting since 9pm.  The first puppy has been born (9th March) at 2.12am – a yellow boy!  Well done Molly!  Puppy feeding well.

More when I can!  He is gorgeous!!!!! Weighs 15.4oz

We had a bit of a worry when we were waiting for pup number two as there was such a long gap so we took Molly for a walk – as soon as went through the front door she gave birth to the second pup, he was born straight into my hands!

Molly has been brilliant throughout and is settled with her puppies right now.

I am sure you will agree they are gorgeous puppies!  I will update the gallery as soon as I can!

A Happy Mummy with her puppies! Well done Molly

Molly’s “fluttering” tummy! 59 days with video clip

I thought I would try and convey a little of what we are seeing with the puppies.  We can feel them rolling around and wriggling away, but we can also see them moving too!

Here is a short video clip of Molly’s tummy!

moving puppies 59days

I hope you enjoy seeing the clip as much as we enjoy watching Molly’s “enormous” tummy!  We are not used to our slender girl being so big!

Molly is progressing really well.  No signs of nesting yet but we have seen some signs that things are moving along a little bit.  Her tummy shape has changed as though it has dropped a little bit.

Update 9pm. Molly has just started nesting!! awww bless.

More news when it all happens – not long to go now! very exciting!

Molly at 56 days

Molly is very happy and content.  No signs at all of any nesting and certainly still happy to snaffle any extra food.  Naughty Stanley managed to knock the food tub over and all four labs piled in munching as much as they could!.

Just a quick update photo.  This was taken yesterday!

Molly looking content at 55 days!

We have been using a foetal heart monitor and listening to the heart beats.  The heart beat is faster than you would expect and sounds a bit like galloping horses!
